2009-2010 Public Policy Committee

I am honored and excited to chair the new Policy Committee, which will focus on government actions that impact children and families throughout Washington. The committee continues Children’s Trust Foundation’s long-standing commitment to ensure that our elected officials support programs that strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect. In the immediate term, we are deeply concerned about how state and local budgetary cuts may harm children and families and hinder the work of Family Support Centers in their local communities. We will be working with various allies to keep our community informed and to fight against harmful legislation.
