Cam Strong is President of Strong Consulting Inc., a Washington-based health benefits consulting company, and CHET Global Consulting Inc., a company specializing in international medical insurance and travel insurance. Cam Strong is a licensed medical insurance agent and also has significant experience as a consultant and former healthcare “operations” executive with a background in private and public sectors as both an insurance executive and a hospital and clinic administrator. Cam has served on numerous corporate boards, and led the development of two electronic data interchange (EDI) start-up companies.
His past experience includes 15 years as Vice President of a $1.5 billion health insurance company. Cam worked 11 years for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs at the national headquarters of OCHAMPUS, (now called TRICARE) a federal healthcare agency, where he served as the Agency’s Principle Contracting Officer and Chief of Procurement. Cam also spent four years as a hospital and clinic administrator in the Air Force.
Cam holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Minot State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado. Cam’s education, leadership experience, and passion for strong communities serve him well as he spearheads the Children’s Trust Foundation’s board.
